Hi Sonia lovers,

My name is Emma and I am the social media intern at Sonia Kashuk Beauty, it is very nice to meet you! As many of you may know, New York Fashion Week kicked off this morning. Being new to the city and a NYFW dreamer, you can imagine my excitement when I found out that I was invited to attend my first show! I was hoping for chaos back stage, celebrities, bright lights, loud music, and amazing designs- and Nicholas K delivered! Back stage models were hectically putting together the finishing touches for their looks while a number of reporters were interviewing the designers Chris and Nicholas. Before the show in the main tent, guests and the press were mingling, saying hello to friends and finding their seats. During the show, the cameras were flashing and the music was rhythmic and loud! On the runway, each design that went by blew me away and I wanted every piece! The designs were amazing! The women’s outwear really caught my eye, the pieces were effortlessly chic and edgy, with warm earth tones and graceful draping. While the models had a certain toughness to them, they seemed almost angelic in the way that they were styled. Different coats and outerwear pieces were hung on their backs and resembled wings as they strutted down the catwalk. After the show, some guests fled the tent to make it to the next event, while others stayed behind to congratulate the designers. I was in awe the whole time. The show and the entire experience was everything I imagined it would be!
