Beauty Petpeeve: Over Bronzed!

beautypetpeeve_overbronzedIts time to discuss another beauty don’t…  I’ve noticed this one quite a lot lately and it is not issue with just the ladies. Wearing Bronzer has become an all-year-round beauty routine but, we have to be careful because wearing too much bronzer can lead to looking like Magda from There’s Something About Mary. Bronzer is the perfect way to add glowing warmth to any skin tone, to give yourself a beautiful radiance all year long.

Avoiding the fake-&-bake orange look is really simple, its all about the right formula and application. The most important thing to remember with bronzer is to choose the right shade and texture, a color that will blend naturally with your complexion and a formula translucent. Whether you decide to use a cream or powder bronzer when you begin to apply it target the areas where the sun naturally hit the face. Make sure that the product is translucent and builtable, apply a sheer layer of product and add slowly to reach your desired tone. With powder bronzer like the Bare Illumination Bronzer or the new Chic Luminosity Bronzer use a light airy brush this way the color will combine evenly with your skin. Above are the Undetectable Cream Bronzers, these are a soft cream that melts into your skin adding warmth. With the Undetectable Cream Bronzers begin to apply these with your fingertips and swirl in product until it is thoroughly blended into your skin. Then go over with a clean brush to blend the product even more. Since this is a cream product it is best to use a Kashuk Tools Synthetic Domed Multipurpose Brush, Synthetic Flat Top Multipurpose Brush or Blending Sponge, your choice! No matter what texture you use remember less is more, these are built-able, if necessary add more.

Yes!! You have brought back your cream bronzers! I loved the old one. It reminded me of the much more expensive Chanel cream bronzer.
