You can go out and get a lipstick palette, then a cheek palette and carry these around in your organizer or carry one palette that gives you both. All four shades of A Kiss on the Cheek go on lips and cheeks, mix and match, blending color into the skin. It is moisturizing to your skin thanks to its BerryFlux Vita extract. A dewy, shine-free, stick-free formula perfect for applying color to your face on the go.
I believe the number one secret to great beauty is taking care of your skin. Makeup should only enhance what you already have, but its your job to protect what you have. We’ve talked about sun screen before, washing off your makeup, maintaining beauty tools… now we need to talk about taking care of your lips. The reality is most women always have a little lipstick on, even when they don’t wear anything else. The shade and finish of your lipstick will not matter if your lips are chapped and dry. Remember lips don’t just dry up in the winter, the sun can dehydrate your lips as well as not drinking enough water. Its good to exfoliate your lips once a week, this way you can get rid of dead skin and can begin to moisturize. A quick recipe you can whip up at home is a scrub made of honey and sugar or olive oil and sugar. Start by splashing lips with warm water to soften skin and give a wet coating. Next, apply the mixture with your fingertip in a gentle, circular motion and rinse with warm water when finished. The final step is moisturizing with a potent hydrating oil or balm. If you want to keep it natural try Vitamin E oil, dry your lips well and apply it as you would balm or lotion. You can purchase the oil on its own or pop a vitamin E capsule and apply the oil. When all this is done your lips will begin to get softer and any lip color product- from shiny gloss to matte crayon- will look great!

A big beauty don’t is wearing lip liner that is a shade darker than your lipstick! Lip liner is a great way to define the shape of your lips as well as keep your lipstick from bleeding or smudging at the edges. Lip liner is also the perfect way to extend the wear of your lipstick; by filling in your entire lips with liner you provide a matte base for your lipstick to lay over. This is why it is essential that your lip definer match the color of your lipstick. The lip pencil is not just for lining your lip, actually it is best to always fill in your entire lips. This way even when you try a nude lipstick and you don’t have a pencil in the same shade and tone, your lip color will only change rather than having an unflattering dark edge around your lips!
