For those of you who aren’t too sure about adding bright colors to your Mani, here are some Nudes and Neutral Nail Trends you must try!
From award season to fashion week… these shades are flattering on everyone making nails look elegant and pretty. Try a bare nail like Michelle Dockery and Natalie Portman when you want to keep it simple. The idea behind the Nude nail color is to choose a shade that is close to your skintone or at least to the color your nail is without polish. Sugar Rush is great nude with a bit of pink because a yellow undertone on a nude shade can make your nails looks dirty. This shade also works great with anyone as you can intensify it by applying more coats. A rosey neutral is a good compromise between a nude and a some color. The Mauving on Up nail colour is a good choice to spice up a neutral nail even a bit more than Hayden Panettiere and Zoe Saldana did with their creamy nudes. This way you get a nail hue that is as versatile as a Nude plus a bit of excitement with the hint of color. Tauped is a neutral that looks chic and classic. It is a great neutral alternative to a dark color while giving you some of that boldness. Just look how beautiful this shade looks on Connie Britton and Debra Messing, perfect for any occasion and mood.
Nothing says Holiday like Gold and Silver! What better to get in the festive spirit than tinsel tips, shimmering lips, and golden eyes to die for! My Precious Gems mini set comes complete with a soft gold long wear liner. A super shine white gold flecked gloss. And mini versions of our best selling nail polishes in Golden Ticket and Smoke’n Mirrors. For a perfect party ready pout pack on the sparkle or create show stopping eyes with bold gold line. My favorite way to incorporate these metallics into my holiday repertoire? Updating a classic french manicure with a modern gold or silver tip.
This month, my Spring ad campaign launches on Target.com and beauty magazines. Featuring an amber haired beauty, we focused on the magnificence of sexy sun-kissed skin and stunning summer shades. The hero product of this look is really my new Illuminating Bronzer which helped me achieve a natural, flawless glow on this otherwise remarkably fair model. The secret is in the groundbreaking poured powder formula that combines all of the ideal properties of powder, cream, and liquid products. The first of its kind at mass, this velvety bronzer creates a transparent veil of warming color that is both buildable and luminous. An essential product for effortless summer beauty, my Illuminating Bronzer is sure to become your skin’s new best friend!
This look is actually quite simple to achieve:
Apply bronzer all over for color, concentrating on the areas where the sun naturally hits the face
Dab a highlighter along the high of the cheekbones to make them pop
Swirl blush over the apples of the cheeks, working backwards towards the hairline
Sweep a golden bronze shadow over the lids and under the eye, blending color so it fades outward
Add definition by applying liner along the upper and lower waterline
Perfect your pout with a pretty hot pink lipstick
Finish the look with a modern french manicure- orange nail beds with golden tips
